PROFILE

JC Kamau is an actor, writer and producer from West London. He has performed his work at the V&A Museum; Camden Roundhouse (2012), The Tabernacle (2013) and Portobello Pop up Theatre (2013). Kamau was invited by the V&A to write and perform a Monologue as part of its forthcoming Martin Luther King programme in August 2013. He also wrote, directed, produced and starred in his highly enteraining play called the mental retreat (2013/14) which was performed at the Chelsea theatre.

In addition to his theatrical work, Kamau curated the photography exhibition: Travelling Without Moving at the Portobello Art Gallery (2011). He is a poet that has performed at various venues in london and has also produced a book of poetry called Mosaic Merkaba (2015). He is also a volunteer presenter at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital Radio.
